NonCompliance with Trash Policy

Following multiple discussions at recent SMPOA board meetings, we are enforcing the community policy requiring all households to use approved large trash totes with secure lids, effective immediately. As outlined in the SMPOA Trash Receptacle Policy (https://smpoa.net/trash-receptacle-reminder/), trash must not be left at the street in bags or open cans, as these attract animals, leading to litter and messes in our neighborhood.

Please ensure you are using a compliant tote, like the one shown on the policy page. These totes prevent animal access and keep our community clean. You can find more details on our website or contact the board with questions.
